Wilbur School District CHILD FIND SCREENING FOR THE 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR

April 23 ~ Child Find Screening Day

Parents are encouraged to schedule a Child Find Screening time for incoming transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students. This screening includes vision, hearing and communication, motor and cognitive concepts. Please call the district at 647-2221, Option 4, to schedule a time slot for your child, as this will be the only day educational service district personnel will be available for screening.

Child Find Screening is provided to all children ages birth to five years of age within the Wilbur School District.

The goal of Child Find screening is to help with early identification and intervention for children who may have developmental disabilities or delays. Early diagnosis and intervention is the key to a child’s developmental success.
